Ajua a consumer experience platform in Africa has acquired WayaWaya, a Kenya-based AI and ML messaging and payments company.
WayaWaya is an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning company known for its innovative Janja platform, which enables borderless banking and payments across apps and social media platforms which was launched in 2015.
The acquisition of WayaWaya allows Ajua to integrate Janja to automate much of the customer experience journey by integrating janja.me product into their product stack, closing the customer experience loop as the smart AI and ML built by WayaWaya gives SMEs the ability to automate responses and give the customer what they want, when they want it.
Ajua has partnership and clients wich includes Coca-Cola, FBNQuest, GoodLife Pharmacy, Java House, Safaricom, Standard Chartered and Total.
WayaWaya is also integrated with global and African financial leaders including Mpesa, Airtel Money, Bankserv, First Data, Interswitch, Stripe, Flutterwave, Visa and MasterCard.
